tonk 0 Posted June 2, 2009 Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 Ok highline vr6 has air con.....the cars had a knock on the o/s corner in the past and has damaged a few air con parts.the canister has been changed along with the pump....no gas yet but the clutch does not engaged when you push the button?Does it need gasing before it will work?It there anything else about these systems we should now about??If it don't work soon my brothers gonna break the car! Mark_H 0 Posted June 2, 2009 Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 hi,I'M sure you need to gas the system upto the correct pressure before the system will work and the clutch will engage. Make sure the system is checked for leaks and oil is added aswell when you fill it, Link to post Share on other sites

tonk 0 Posted June 2, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 2, 2009 sorted now!cant get it charged until tomorrow but found one of those refill cans you see at halfords in the shed.anyway i gave it a go was just enough in there and it clicked on Wont run it until i get it on a machine and oiled upbut atleast its working now!!Thanks peeps x Link to post Share on other sites
