d77 1 Posted April 25, 2009 Report Share Posted April 25, 2009 this is the problem, start the car and everything is fine, can leave it to tick over without any worry, when i bring the revs up to 2000rpm within 5-10 seconds the oil pressure warning light comes on and it starts beeping, have measure the oil pressure at both sensors on the filter housing and there is a slight difference but on average its about 7 bar from cold can see the relief valve is working because the pressure rises and falls.this is the only thing stopping me from getting the car back on the road and i'm dying to start using it after having my S3 stolen and so i can get out of the polo bread van.
