TaNgOzVR6 13
I need some advice fellaz, my cars just gone in to get repaired, some bodywork and a respray.. Im making list of mods, heres my list so far:1. Roll/stretch/Flare arches about 20-25mm keeping the flat edge. (Im not 100% sure how much too stretch yet, i want enough clearance for 16 x 9's)2. Smooth swage lines at the rear3. Remove plinth and make recess smaller (not sure whether to have a button where the plate lights go or solenoid?)4. Roof Aeriel?? (do i keep it or loose it?? radio signal might be crap?? what about DAB??)5 Remove rust from under doors, jack points and anywhere else6. CL tailgate with no holes in window.7 Not sure to remove or keep wing indicators??8. Im keeping the front plate recess but cleaning it and smoothing it a little.9. Remove washer jets from bonnet and relocate them to panel under windscreen.10.Im keeping the lines in both bumpers..Thats it so far.. the main confusion for me is how much to stretch/flare the arches by as i dont want the too wide but wide enough for clearance for 16 x 9's, is it worth getting rims first so the workshop can work around the rims?? also if i remove the roof aeriel will the radio signal be bad or is DAB worth getting?? but not sure if you need an aeriel for that aswell..ThanksH
Caddymatt1380 0
If the body shop is worth it's weight then get the wheels first and then the body shop will stretch the arches perfectly around them.
