krave 0 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Share Posted March 10, 2009 I have now basically completed my mk2vr conversion after coming to a halt with no money. i have bled my brakes at the calipers today and they still seem very spongey, Any ideas what this could be? i dont have to bleed the master cylinder do i like i have to with the clutch master??help appreciated please :-) Link to post Share on other sites
dirty 0 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Share Posted March 25, 2009 ideally u should bleed the whole system, im in the same boat, id whacked it on a pressure bleeder and still had spongey brakes. as much as i dont want to admit it cos i know its a sh1t job but your probably looking at a brake master cylinder. The seals fail and thats where the sponginess comes in. Or you have a leak in the system allowing air in? Link to post Share on other sites
