Central locking pump location

Hey everyone

Ok this sounds immensely dumb but when i bought my vr it didn't have a central locking pump so i finally bought one, now when i open the boot of my golf i found the wiring and pipe laying loose on the right hand side of the boot connected it up and finally central locking

But now comes the time to put the pump in its place but i can't see as to where it would fit 8-)

Where do your central locking pumps in a golf mk3 sit ?

Also all my doors lock except the boot but there is suction there *-)

Could it be the lock itself thats faulty ?

inside a black polystyrene case on the right of the boot, behind the carpet panel, just infront of the light cluster and held in place with a large elastic band and a hook like the spare wheel and warning triangle

If i understand correctly it should sit under the petrol flap locking mechanism ?

Thanks for the offer Krave but i have the casing, just short the elastic band, south africa doesn't seem to keep them lying around in junk yards
