viral88 0
Hey guysOn Friday when leaving work i started the car and heard a strange noise, it sounds like a crucnhy leaf stuck in the vent being grinded by the motor (if you know what i'm saying). But my ventilation system was off completely and the noise sounds like the engine revving through the air vents and sounds like a tractor inside yet outside everything sounds normal *-)On Saturday i started it and the car sounded perfect, no funny noises or anything so i never took it for a drive cause i assumed it was nothing. This morning i started the car and heard the same noise again, took it for a drive around the block and the car seemed to hesitate then started to idle erratically then the idling returned to normal but the noise was still there.Does anyone have any idea as to what this could be ? Or should i book it in at vw to get it on vagcomPs. its due for a service soon, would that be causing it ?Any input gladly accepted

thegoth 5
VAG-COM is always a good place to start. Are you loosing coolant? Sounds like it might be a problem with the heater matrix. an airlock maybe. but that wouldn't explain the hesitation. Complete head scratcher I'm afraid.
viral88 0
Only coolant lost is less than a teaspoon after full day with aircon on, Heater core failed on me a year back so its been bypassed since, seems i might have to book it in for vagcom then
