thegoth 5 Posted February 15, 2009 Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 it won't do anything that cant easily be fixed.If it's an OBD2 then I think I'm right in saying that the TB servo will need resetting. But it does it itself when you turn the ignition on for a while before starting up for the first time.Once the TB servo is set, or on OBD1 engines, make sure all the electrics are off and start the car. Let it idle until the fans kick in. This will teach the ECU the basics it needs. The learning goes on over the next few starts but no further action is needed.As it's an electronic device be wary of touching the contacts as static could harm it. Link to post Share on other sites
