morpheous1970 0 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 Hi All,After having a new engine put in my baby, I have been having problems getting her into reverse and fifth !After visiting the garage on numerous ocxcations and having the linkage adjusted it worked for a while and the you had to go for reverse to get first and also no fifth ! third seemed to be where fifh was ?????Back to garage - was told broken gear linkage !New linkage fitted today, reverse working fine get onto motorway and fifth fine...... pull into garage to wash her off......and cannot get reverse or fifth ?? the guy in the garage says oh maybe you need a new gear box??Please could anybody cast some light on this?thankyou JT Link to post Share on other sites
