jellsta 0 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Share Posted February 9, 2009 hi there my car has just failed mot because ABS light stays on. i have read you can wire it up to the airbag light so it comes on with the ignition and goes out when the air bag light goes off, which i have done. i cant remeber if it is working correctly they go out at the same time or not, and if it will pass a retest like this ? i just need to get it through so i can then get hold of VAG COM from a friend and find the problem.. jellsta 0 Posted February 9, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2009 I will do as soon as get it on VAG COM at weekend as i dont fancy being without it, will it pass an MOT with this bodge though? ive just changed the rear discs and pads so problem is prob in that area as was fine until i changed them. thegoth 5 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Share Posted February 9, 2009 I can't say. I bodge mine so that the airbag bulb is in the ABS section and the ABS one blacked out with tape which works. But the tester might be looking more closely as it's just failed for it. Link to post Share on other sites
