russj249 2
not sure if it's in the right section. but I need to sort this out desperately and it's dark and got no hazards.I need to know which wires in the steering column are the hazards. Which colour and in which plug.Think i better add.. it's for a remote central lock system I've got in it, so i need to know which wires to join to make the hazards come on from the control box. rigs 0
Not the easiest of wiring to follow so test this before cutting anything:The flashing power output to the bulbs themselves appear to be in the 7 pin plug at the steering column: Pin 3 black/white and pin 7 black/green...It looks like you'll have to tap in to them to make them flash. The switch itself completes the circuit so you can't just make the flasher relay activate.
russj249 2
ah ok.. i thought it was those wires by going off haynes manual diagram. I tried putting the voltmeter into that plug and earth the other but there was no voltage with the hazards switched on. Surely the voltmeter should be jumping all over the place as there's power and then no power?
russj249 2
ok.. sorted the lights. They work fine. Found out there was another set of wires with the same colour that were wrong. Now for the tricky bit. The alarm system I've got has got one power output to shut the windows when you press lock. Any idea's which wire i need to join this to to get both windows to go up?
