raymievr6 0 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 Hi i just bought my first vr6, but it has a strange problem, when driving and revs at about 2000 rpm if you lift your foot off the throttle, it feels like the engine has died, but put your foot back on you get a slight surge and its fine again, it idles ok and pulls like a train any ideas?????? juliet 0 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 Having had something like this myself, it could be either the MAF is broken and the lambda sensor as well at the same time. Some of my threads might help if you look back. With my lambda sensor nockd and the MAF problem i had car wouldnt run right, you would ease off the throttle and the engine would die / cut out but put it back on and it would surge and settle down Link to post Share on other sites
