kea75 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Share Posted January 14, 2009 Hi all ive been to look at a vr6 today its a 1997 p reg when looking over it i noticed the rear carpet had a hole melted it it the size of a golf ball ..... when i asked the seller he said it was like it when he brought it and his local garage said there was nothing to worry about it has had a plate welded on the chassis where it had rusted ... ? is this a normal thing ? also a small amount of mayo on the oil filler cap but the car hasnt been used for a while could this be condensation or is it head gasket the cars done 127,000thaks Link to post Share on other sites
