hus55 0 Posted December 27, 2008 Report Share Posted December 27, 2008 just brought a vr6 from a private seller after a thorough check over and test drive,all seemed ok.the next day i noticed that even when i had my foot on the brake the safety button on the side of the gearlever would not 'press in' . after a few different techniques like applying sudden brake pressure it would relaese and press in.i am able to eventually get it to work but its fustrating!! and its gonna be difficult for mum to sort it when shes using the car.i am sure its something simple but nit sure where to start and i am not the best of mechanics.....how do i replace the bulb in the gaitor? as i cannot see what gear its in at night? does the cover come off easy enough?rgds hus Link to post Share on other sites
