jonny_gti 0 Posted December 16, 2008 Report Share Posted December 16, 2008 hi looking for a bit of advice. i put my car into a garage to get my schimmel 263 cams put in and when i picked it up i noticed the temp guage wasnt working , the needle just stayed at the bottom. done a search on the net and say a few pic of the temp sensors. Im a right saying your supposed to have a yellow, blue and brown sensor? i checked mines and i only have a yellow and blue 1?? my car is an OBD2 so not sure if its only supposed to have the 2 temp sensors and mabey it was a pic of a OBD1 engine that i saw.thanks Link to post Share on other sites

ip 0 Posted December 16, 2008 Report Share Posted December 16, 2008 Third sensor is only for cars with air con. Car without aircon only have blue and yellow. Temp gauge on dash is fed from the yellow sensor. Blue sensor provides temp reading to ECU. Link to post Share on other sites
