699MAN 0 Posted September 29, 2008 Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 Hi.My VR6 has a full closure alarm, Whether it was a standard thing or a optional extra i dont know, Anyway when i bought the car off my dad i was 22 so needed a up to date cat 1 immobiliser. To cut a long story short the company that fitted it made a right mess and caused the car to not start when hot, I got someone to sort it but they disconnected the original alarm system ( the clowns that fitted the immob obviously connected into that and somehow caused the problems, I dont know how or why ) anyway does anyone have a diagram of a VW alarm system as i am going to have a go at connecting the main syatem back up and disconnecting the immobiliser. I might get a auto electrician in but i have done auto electrics before when i rewired my S1 RS turbos loom after a relay went on fire!!.Thanks in advance Tom Link to post Share on other sites
