GAZ666 0 Posted August 8, 2008 Report Share Posted August 8, 2008 Hi.. on my 2nd car (mk3 golf cabriolet 1.8 8v) its started to make a noise when pulling away in 1st and 2nd and also when turning left.. the noise is coming from the drivers side wheel and sounds like small cogs grinding together, like a higher pitched metalic sound...does this mean its on the driveshaft or cv ? i have no idea.. please help Link to post Share on other sites
