M4VTY 0 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 I filled my VR fuel tank shows full then after 10 miles I'm now seeing 3 quarters of a tank, after 20 miles I'm now looking at a qauter of a tank on the fuel gage.I think I have a faulty fuel sender, does anyone know where the fuel sender is located and how it's changed?I dont have a fuel leak as I tried to fill the tank again and its full....Please help Link to post Share on other sites
rigs 0 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Share Posted May 14, 2008 It's in the tank attached to the lift pump.In the boot under the carpet theres a circular panel you can remove and the top of the tank is exposed underneath.Theres a large ring seal you have to turn then the lift pump pulls out of the top of the tank with the level sensor attached.Might aswell change the lift pump whilst you're at it.
