supercharging my vr

Im seriously considering supercharging my golf vr6, Thing is i have no idea what kind of budget i will need and unsure of thr repitable garages that do the conversions. i dont want to rediculous power just to stage 1 , which im guessing is 230 bhp ish ?

It would be great if some of you clever clogs could fill me in on prices and realistic performance figures . I dont mind private forum members doing the conversion so if anybody knows somone let me know .

mines stage one, 260bhp, you'll need around £3000 for everything needed for a bombproof job if fitting yourself, which really is easy, just take your time with it and read up on stuff before hand

what bits will i need

charger kit*

vf or vibratech front engine mount*

oil cooler kit

low temp coolant thermostat

custom RR remap from stealth*

decent flowing exhaust*

change oil and filters*

2 bottles of G12+ coolant

magnetic sump plug

Items with * next to them are needed for set up other can be done at a later date

Its worth getting a diagnostic check aswell before you go for a remap incase of any problems that might need sorting beforehand
