CLEG-VR6 0 Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 bad news, i may have destroyed my baby vr..on tuesday nite after hearing somke bad news about a family member i ended up beached on a roundabout. Lack of concentration, my mind being elsewhere i hit the roundabout and destroyed a lot of the underneath.. damage i have seen, snapped driveshaft, snapped wishbone, the sump is all bashed in and pierced, wing is ruined sideskirt snapped and im sure as hell there will be more. i am so gutted. Samson 0 Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 Bad news matey....Sounds like you hit it flipping hard, check out the chassis, hopefully that isnt twisted, the others can be replaced, probably not what you needed but it can all be fixed so far from what you have seen. CLEG-VR6 0 Posted April 10, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 samson where abouts are you, where does your mate work from. still debateing weather to go through insurance as no boubt theyll write it off and this is gunna sting me come next time i insure the car. i have a mate who recently broke a vr so should get all the parts cheap as chips its just doing the work thats a prob as i dont have the time myself.
