ex.covkid 0 Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 Hi to all - brand new member 8-| I have a '98 Golf III VR6 Highline which has me chasing my tail!Let me down in tesco's car park, turned out to be the earth lead on the starter, sorted that.Got it running.... on 2 pots! eventually worked out coilpack was knacked - now sorted.Just failed MOT on emissions! bloke thought it may be Coolant temp sensor causing it to run rich.Search around the web and seems like a cheap fix and easy - gonna flush and replace coolant as well, i thinkWhich sensor is it? can't work out how to upload pic but i have a yellow, a blue and a brown all in a row where i was expecting a single sensor to replace.
