ANThighline 0
Hi everyone, well as soon as my vr is back from the bodyshop im gonna get it serviced, according to the book its not needed for another 4k but id like to get it done for my own piece of mind(hasnt been done whilst ive owned it). Now seen as im fairly new to vr's i was just wondering where is best to go for one, obviously id prefer a dealer but what do they usually charge? Also, sorry if this sounds daft, but what can i expect to be done in a service to my vr? Currently reading 72k by the way! Im based in manchester if anyone can help, much appreciated
VR6Steve 0
Personally, I'd get it done by a reputable indepent garage. Will cost less and you will probably get a better job too. Dubsport are in your neck of the woods. As for what service, it depends what was done at the last service? If its an 80k its a big service inc spark plugs. (Another good reason not to go to a dealership is that they charge about £15 per plug and you can almost get a complete set for the same money from somewhere like GSF). ANThighline 0
How can i find out exactly what was done at my last service?
VR6Steve 0
From the items ticked in the service book or if you have an invoice with the parts listed.
Pittuf 0
Ring the place that did it i'd say, the stamp should be in the book.
