xyber 1
sounds like the crack pipe, they have a rubber seal at each end and just push fits in place, it also has a drain plug which needs replacing with a new seal everytime its undone, as its plastic the pipe can go brittle like the stat housing and crack.A new one should cost the earth or you could get a bomb proof shiney one like this http://gruvenparts.com/website/cart/cart.php?target=product&product_id=

xyber 1
Its tight but it just slide into place really, but if your replacing the stat housing that'll give you more room, its all just jubilee clips and a socket set really from what I rememberstat housing comes with seals, thermostat comes with a seal, you'll need 3 new seals for the sensors on the stat housing and a bottle of G12+ coolant to refill the systemhave a look at this aswell http://www.gti-vr6.net/library/engine/repl_VR6_therm_housing.html
