Futch 0
Evening all,I have just received my VR back fully repaired and looking good as new after a light front end crash 1 month ago. After the crash (I went into the back of somone) I noticed a strange vibration coming through the steering wheel, and an odd noise. The best way to describe it would be like driving over a load of cats eyes. It sounds like it is coming from the nearside front wheel.Does anybody hve any suggestions as to what this could be? The car had a structural check after the crash and nothing was found to be wrong. Could it be a wheel bearing? Would a wheel bearing cause a sensation through the steering wheel? The handling feels OK, though could do with a geo check. Many thanks.
VR6Will 0
i have a similar problem with my car at the moment, it started doing it when weight was transferred to the corner the vibration was coming from, but gradually started doing in a straight line now. Im going to swap the cv joint first at the weekend to see if this fixes it, its easier to change a cv than it is a wheel bearing.
