Main bearing shell problems

Im in the middle of an engine overhaul at the moment and went to put the crank back in tonight but theres a problem with the new bearing shells being different from the old ones.

The ones that came out of the engine had two different halves, the half in the block has a groove along the middle of the bearings and there was i hole in the groove about 10mm long to allow oil to pass from the oil gallery in the block to between the crank and shell. And the half in the cap had no groove or hole in it.

The new ones i have been given have the groove in both halves but there is no hole through to the oil feed. The part no. for these is 071 105 591 C.

I found a thread on here about this same problem and it said that the part nos had changed to use the same bearings as in the R32 engine, but there was nothing in this thread about the hole to the oil gallery.

Getting really fu**ed off with the dealer im using now. I've already had to send back incorrect parts FOUR times and thought that now i'd got all the parts and could get the damnd thing back together. Useless ba***rds!!

Any help on this would be hugely appriciated, especially from anyone whos had one of these engines apart before.
