ardandy 0
To cure my idle problem, too high when cold, too low (250rpm) when warm, I've decided to replace some sensors as I'd suspect it's a temperature sensor (apparently there's 4) causing it to misjudge the cold start cycle slightly?I've already replaced the coolant ecu (blue) blue temp sensor.Which other sensors on the car are <£20 as I'm just going to replace them anyway!I have a 93K VR6 Corrado, does anyone know the Bosch part no. for a lambda? ardandy 0
Just spoke to VW.Apparently theres a temp sensor on the inlet manifold, could that cause idling issues? One other sensor they mentioned (for prices anyway) was a Throttle Valve Patentiometre???? £65. Whatever the hell that is!

SiGainey 1
Very much doubt it m8 - it's an inlet air temperature sensor and I believe the ECU uses it to determine how much advance / retard it needs - hotter air = less advance
SiGainey 1
Have you thought about cleaning the throttle body butterfly - how clean is that? If it's sticking, it wont be as controllable as if it's clean. Are you OBD1? If so, have you cleaned the idle valve?
blondie 0
what about the lambda sensor? That can make u have issues. Made mine run lean then juicy. She hadnt a clue what she was upto.
blondie 0
mite be worth getting it either diagnosed or VAgcommed to highlight the issues it has.
