ive had the car in for some work - ive had it dropped, serviced and new front disks put on now when i turn the ignition the ABS light stays on bwhich is a bit worrying! im just wondering what i can tell the guy to check in terms of connections etc, BTW ive not had new pads as they were ok so i think they were just inspected and put back.

also apparently i might need a new HT lead and im wondering if im gonna have to buy a new set or i can buy specific ones?

please help cos its broke me when i got told it was mis- firing and the ABS light was on when i was expecting to be driving it tonight!

cheers mate,

had a bit of a hectic day darting to and from the garage and a breakers i use for bits in between work jobs!

- infact hes got a VW VSR manifold for sale and its SICK!, but thats by the by-

sorted out the misfire - he'd slipped with pliers removing the spark plugs and caught a HT lead (although i later found out the spark plug removal tool is on the bonnet strut, DOH!)

and the ABS light has gone back off, which im undecieded on so i think im still gonna get it commed somewhere as i got told at the VW yard that it could be play on the bearings or a loose connection.
