dangermouse 0 Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 Hope someone can help me. I hit the mother of all potholes yesterday and now I have a suspension problem. The steering wheel is off centre so I know the wheel alignment has been affected which I am sorting tomorrow. The problem I have is that on full right and left hand lock when pulling off there is a clunk. I have checked the following: bottom ball joints, track control arm bushes, track rod ends, shock absorber mounts, top mounts, anti roll bar bushes. Its an intermittent clunk though as it dosent do it all the time. I've balanced the wheels as well to be safe and there's no buckles or distortions in the wheel or tyre. Has anybody got any idea's as to what the problem could be? Any help would be grateful, the car is a Vento VR6 on an 'R' reg 1997, thanks Dave Link to post Share on other sites
