bout to get me some of these; Nokian NRVi 225/50 R16 96V XL n i know what your thinkin, never heard of them or there cheap rubbish but on all there reviews they score better than most if not all the 'big name' tyres above 100 quid a piece and theyre only 32 quid.... MAD VALUE!!!

If you are low then you will have trouble with them on 9s. Plus I beleive they will clear the arches unless yours have been flared. I ran 215/45s on my 9x16s and they sat great and still give a good ride, had to have coilovers on firm to stop rubbing on back, but was a great drive.

ive got coilovers n ive had my arches done proper, have a look.

n ive got 215 40s on at the mo but i want a bit more rim protection n a slightly softer ride.

I still think you'll struggle personally, try one before you do them all first

but ive got 215 40s on, n the differene is only 1cm width n about 1cm height n plus i forgot to say but im raisin it by at least 10mm so that will cancel out the profile change?

50 profile will be too big. You'll need 45 profile on 16's.
