Im not doin it myself, a top macanic in lichfield is gonna do it on the cheep. I just want 2 make sure i have all the info i need 2 make sure it goes smoothly with no unexpected hic - ups.Im also thinkin of stickin a turbo on it next year n am lookin advice on thisaswell.So wot do u all think ? xyber 1 Posted June 9, 2007 Report Share Posted June 9, 2007 just buy a vr6, youll have the full package then I dont see the point of swapping the lump and creating a car that is already easily available, just seems like hassle and once you replace the suspension and brakes to cope its not really worth it when you can jsu buy the car your putting together. Just my opinionAlso the insurance may be retarded because it wont be a vr6, itll be classed as heavily modded mk3 cl so may end up costing more to insure than a vr6 with all its extra luxuriesGet a realistic total cost for the lump, brakes, suspension, labour, exhaust etcThen see what price a vr6 is in the autotrader Link to post Share on other sites
