marcbowden 0
I had a VR6 for several year until last year when the HG went and quoted with an 11.5hr repair time I traded it in for a V6 MR2. I love the MR2 but I would prefer a saloon for daily driving, with boot, seats, place to put my bike etc. It would be sensible to buy a 1.6/1.8 Golf kind of thing, but I do miss my VR6.I'm based in the Matlock, Derbyshire area, and also Sussex. Would anyone be able to come view VR6es with me, as I'm knowledge free when it comes to mechanics etc?

marcbowden 0
Hi MikeThanks. 40m is no problen :-), I don't know ehere I'll be viewing yet ...No, it's not a typo. Imported turbo MR2s have a number of revisions. This MR2 started off as a rev1 (2litres and about 200bph). The V6 (3 litres) was a professional swap from a Camry. It's much more driveable and quiet. I can tootle around all day in 4th if I want, and power come in from about 1600. But, onb the other hand it has an ACoustic Induction System which from 4000 ish makes a *wonderful* noise. 200bhp/200lb/ft so it's not *that* quick compared to a later standard VR6 but I feel the speed more! And I took it on a drift day recently which is something I couldn't have done with my VR6.Marchi mate' date=' i would offer if you fancy driving 40miels to pick me up altho id probably not be much good tbhnever heard of a V6 mr2? is that a mistype or does that actualy exist? good luck[/quote']
