SiGainey 1
My 97 VR6 dont want to get going easily in first gear without the revs dying, you need to give it about 2000rpm to get it to go and I dont know why! I've replaced leads, coil pack and cleaned the cam sensor but I dont know where to look next. It could be an air leak I guess but has anyone else seen this problem before? It's fine when it's warmed up lol!
matth76 1
Does it have 268 performance cams fitted? These can cause there to be a slight "pause" in power in low revs and then all power surges in around 2k revs.

SiGainey 1
Yep, no fault codes that I could see, well apart from the sodding airbag light I'm going to replace the inlet manifold tomorrow with a heat wrapped one so will see what I can find
SiGainey 1
Sorted it - it was a leaky breather on the inlet manifold - all better now
