rubix_02 0 Posted February 1, 2007 Report Share Posted February 1, 2007 having some problem with my front drivers side window.the story so far.it stopped working 3 days ago, i try to put the window down but it didn't work, just a load of clicking from inside the door which stopped after 10seconds or so. from then on whenever the button is pressed nothing happens,Looked at the wiring between the door and body, the brown wire had snapped, i've fixed this with a butt connector and now when i try the window up or down all i can hear is one click coming from the motor when i press the button.Any help or infomation would be very nice.CheersAndy Link to post Share on other sites
Reep0503 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 Mine is the same and rather annoying with it. The clicking noise is the same too. What is worse is that it sometimes works on teh way down but doesn't come back up again.I think it is the door switch, I just haven't got round to replacing mine yet. Although I have heard it can jsut be seized so some WD40 can cure it. Unless its fully knackered. VW wanted about £50 to fix mine but wasn't having that. Link to post Share on other sites
