j7dub 0
currently i have 205/40x17 tyres on the brocks looks very nice and stretched. but the problem is theyr easy to kerb as the edge/rim of the wheel sticks out and the tyre is set back i was thinkin of puttin 215/40x17tyres on, the arches have been rolled do you think they would touch. i would feel a lot safer with 215 rather than 205 as with 205 it seems like i might lose the car going round a bend 1 day as the tyre is so stretched. but saying that i have seen cars at shows where they have stretched the tyres to the max is it safe??? &| [ Edited ]
dubloke 4
stretched tyres look good but have a tendancy to roll off the rim in certain circumstances, ie high speed cornering! i need my arches doing at the rear as i'm currently running 215/40 tyres on 8" wide rims and its a nightmare over bumps on a 60mm drop! anywhere u could reccomend to roll arches properly? j7dub 0
not really but all i can recommend is that whoever you go to make sure they do it properly as if they dont water will get in the roll and cause you problems later bubbling etc
