tubby 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Share Posted September 12, 2006 Aparrently my offside driveshafts a gonner and needs replacing, its costing me 120 quid is this an ok price and how much roughly should i pay to have it fixed ?The guy i usually have fix my car ordered it on thursday and he aint got it yet he is not known for his fleet of foot and im pissed off as i aint drove the vr for about a week and a half now.The question i have is should i have this job done by vw maybe more expensive but at least it would be original vw part and my car should be back before christmas ?What do you guys think ?virgin Link to post Share on other sites
dubloke 4 Posted September 12, 2006 Report Share Posted September 12, 2006 sounds an okay price to me fella, would cost you prob about 2/3 hours labour plus the part at vw, which will be more than what you'll pay i'd guess. failing that get your hands dorty and get under there, its not that hard a job!
