So as you can see, this little old MK2 started life as a 1 owner from new, 1.6 auto that was pretty much mint. Back in November 2013 where this story begins, bought with a fresh 12mth MOT for just £600 the old girl had no issues driving the 80 miles to her new home. It wasn't long before the work commenced on gutting the car completely as you can see. After 3 years down the line and whilst it may not look like i've done much, plenty has gone in to this car that you can't see. With the engine removed, the bay was repainted.
