So im brand new to the vr6 game with the purchase of a mk3 gti. Plan on doing general maintenance to it first. Timing chain and oil chain are top of my list along with a water pump while I'm in there. Anything else I should really look for while I'm in there? Was going to do the mk3 headgasket but if I decide to boost it all it will do is hinder me

Even though im about to own my first vr6, i absolutly love the r32. Since the day i learned about it its beem on of my favorite cars ever made

The main thing i struggle with is associating what i read to physically doing it. Sometimes it just takes seeing it be done to make it click.

I see everywhere info about how to turbo a vr6 but what i dont see are any videos anywhere. I wonder ifnanyone has found an in depth diy on the steps to boost a vr6. It seems to me like a pretty popular mod and it really surprised me that i couldnt find anything on it. If i knew more about it i would take it upon myself but im still learning myself.
