whats happening!! long time reader here but just recently joined. I need to see what all is involved with installing piston rings on a 24v vr. is there any grinding/filing done?! its my first time digging this deep in to my block but ever since my oil pump went out on me, i really would like to have this thing done right and put together right. the block now is at a machine shop getting cleaned, tanked, rehoned, etc. i have a pdf of the bentley and printed out what i thought i may need along the way. basically if i can get any advice or suggestions to help me along the way would help immensely

And to answer your question, I'm almost certain that the hubs are the same. It's the caliper carriers and such you'd have to change over if you're going for the bigger rotors

I literally had just signed up and started searching for some answers about a problem I'm having with my 24v and realized that the posts and comments I was reading were from like 3+ years ago. It'd be nice to have a different community of strictly vr owners to converse with rather than going to vortex just to get bashed. But yeh, does anyone use this site anymore?!
