  1. This is the information of the cams I have at the minute: VW VR6 cyl.2 valve 2,8-2,9L 276°/276°/112°/11,5mm/2,08mm/2,20mm I'll measure the standard and new cams today. Then hopefully Google will provide me with a standard valve clearance measurement

I'm currently building a 2.8VR 12V The head is ported and slightly polished, I've shrick 276 cams to go in, IE titanium springs and retainers, super tech exhaust valves (as the standards were well worn) I also got new valve seals and new hydraulic lifters (VW) I'm installing the head at the minute, engine out of car as its getting a lot of work done to it. My main question is will those cams be OK to run with the standard mk3 head gasket? I know how to check valve clearance, but I can't, as I don't have solid lifters available.
