    Apologies if this has been covered many times. I have just purchased 'DJiceman's mk2 turbo project and I believe the turbo has failed. From the information he has given me, my understanding is that it is a chinese turbo. I have seen that the Garrett GT35R turbo's are popular, however I'm unsure of what specs of turbine housing and compressor housing I need as there are multiple options. Ideally I'd like someone if possible to tell me what specific turbo to buy, (specs and model) Are there any cheaper alternatives available that still yield similar build quality to that of the Garrett?
