  1. Got the car running Saturday night. Drove it around for a few hours and all seems good. Received the silicone hose and connectors to plumb in a recirculating dump valve so will be doing that tonight then tomorrow I'm booked in with a garage who will be fitting the LCR Brembos, ultimax discs, ferrodo ds2500 pads, braided lines and filling the system with ATE blue brake fluid. At the same time I will get the car raised a bit at the front and then stick on the mk1 TT Ronals which I had done in LC9Z paint.
  2. Cheers mate.Yep that's it remove the short bolt and screw in the longer one.

  4. Progress has been a bit slow lately. To much going on at home and work. I started putting the front back on. Connected up the coolant pipes to the radiator and put the headlight loom back in. Also ran new fuel lines from the fuel pressure regulator to the fuel rail. I'm hoping to have the car running again over the weekend. I bought a spare vr6 fuel pump and while at work today i'm going to attempt to fit the uprated pump in to the vr6 pump housing.
  5. Going to keep everything as it is for now then if it's not going to make much difference.
  6. Yes that's right I had the same issue.
  7. Some meeting points were briefly mentioned earlier on in the thread.
  8. Are you going to be selling the mk1? I'm looking for one.
  9. I had to get the brackets in the mk3 floor cut off and mk4 ones welded in.
  10. So I got a alloy oil cooler cap from another member on here and it is now fitted. I also finished wiring up the wotbox yesterday although I can't test it until i've got the rest of the engine bits fitted. Can anyone help me with this. I currently have 57mm pipe work running from the intercooler to the turbo and on the air intake side I have 51mm because of the shape it was easier to use the 51mm that was given to me with the turbo kit I bought. My question is would I see much difference if I were to change this 51mm to 57mm? The intercooler I have has 57mm outlets. Thanks
  11. I got this clutch switch wiring diagram sent through from N2MB. Thought I would share it on here incase anyone else ever needs it.
  12. The chances of me getting the car ready by then are quite low I'll try my best. It don't help when companies don't bother getting back to you. 3 emails and 2 phone calls and the bloke at SFS hoses still ain't got back to me
  13. All good and fitted. I didn't bother attempting to take it apart myself. I'm friendly with the bodyshop next door to my work so I gave it to one of the guys in there and he got it apart for me lol. He put a nut and bolt through the holes in the tube and clamped that into the vice rather than clamping the actual cap and then got a spanner on it and it came apart with a bit of force.
  14. Damn I best get my car finished.
  15. Cheers for the advice. I will hopefully be giving it a go tomorrow when I receive it.
  16. Lol. I hope it's not to much of a bugger to get mine apart.
  17. Cheers il give that a try. Ordered a clutch switch today so just got to wait for it to arrive.
  18. Not right now I'm not. Maybe later on.
  19. Ok cheers. I might be a getting a cap off another member on here if not then i'll get that one off ebay.
  20. Yes mate that's basically it. But I've got the optional lead with it so I could control my meth injection from it too.
  21. I am also in need of a alloy cap does anyone else have one available?
  22. Thanks for the reply. But where do I connect the wire off the switch to?
