Bealieboy reacted to VR6Pete in Pete's OBD2 Corrado VR6 - On The Road
So bit of an update! It's still running nicely and now has a fresh MOT ticket. Only advisories were rear axel bushes and some play in rear bearings, but as the bearings were new they just needed tweaking up now I've got some miles on them.
Axel bushes I will do next month and replace with power flex ones.
So she's had s good wash and Hoover ready for a drive to Cornwall soon!
Got the roof box on - total nightmare with the roof rails for the Corrado! Lol
Got to do some club repping
So fingers crossed it doesn't let me down as nearly 300 mile drive each way!

Finally the part I enjoy! Started a full detail today in prep for upcoming events.
KKD Snow Foam. Two Bucket wash with BMD Atlantis shampoo. Detailing brushes for all nooks and crannies. Fallout remover for wheels and new daft White calipers! Power Rinse. Then dry. Then the work begins panel by panel. Clay Bar. Menzerna 400 if there is heavy marks. Followed by 2200, then finish with 4400. 50 Cal Filler applied with rotary and finishing pad. Poor boys exp sealant. Then a layer of BMD Morpheus wax. Finished with a layer of BMD Sirius Dark wax. Then a little Mad cow quick detailer to bring out the gloss.
CarPro DLux for all plastics and poor boys glass cleaner for the Windows. Also use poor boys tyre gel and wheel sealant. Not a nice job so get the helpers in for that one!!!
So this afternoon we managed one wing and one door . Back at it tomorrow.
Reflection shot
Cheers for popping in!

Bealieboy reacted to bennyk in POST A SINGLE PIC OF YOUR CAR
Say hello to project OE!
Well I needed somewhere to get rid of all the standard crap I've amassed over the last 3 years of VR ownership -

Bealieboy reacted to c00k in Golf Mk3 VR6 on Air - Supercharger.
No I haven't had it on Dyno yet, think it's around the 300 mark my self.
I have a mate who has a MK4 R32 at about 272bhp, and I'm way quicker off the line, and have a higher top end. Had it go off the clock few times.
My MAF is a flange I have welded in to my pipe work, so not a standard MAF.
I'll get some pic when I'm working on it next.
Cheers for your kind words buddy
More of an update comming later tonight.

Just finished reading through the thread. Great work chap, clearly got got plenty of skills.
Have you had the car on a dyno? I have just bought the same charger from Bealyboy. If you get the chance to throw up a few more images of your MAF, Air Filter and pipework locations of the charger and maybe a video..
Great build and attention to detail. Off to have a look at the daily build now.
