Using the BMW wire so def good on that. Just spoke to J4Y VR and I think he just shook my memory and there might be some wires that I havent put back...i will check this afternoon and keep u posted! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not intermittent,when ignition is on,the guages move i.e fuel guage etc but as soon as I start her then I loose them all...all lights etc work but no "needles" if that makes sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Loosing all guages when car is running. Dash works perfect but just the guages that dont work when car is running. Battery was relocated to the boot so im guessing its that but ive moved the earthing points thinking it might be that but still no luck! This is what the dude used... Block up front... In boot...negative was mounted somewhere else but I moved it there to see if it will make a difference so the neg wire is a bit long as u can see Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I just checked where the earth frol battery was located and he ran it to the body just infront of the back seats...so I took it off and mounted it to where it is now in the pic to see if that will make a difference but it doesnt... Will the lenght of the negative cable affect it as it is a bit long... At the back... Block at front... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi. So after installing a Turbo and having the battery relocated to the boot I am loosing my dash guages when the car is running which I think is a earth issue from relocation. As im now fed up im going to put everything back up front but need to use a battery as small as possible to fit upfront with all the Turbo pipes etc but powerfull enough. So Ive noticed that the fuel guage sometimes comes on and sometimes dies when running....so im almost sure its an earth issue...? Here is how the guy did the battery relocation... Original negative that ran to battery mounted to body up front. Then all power cables connected to a block up front with positive battery cable running from there to the battery in boot. Earth from battery in boot mounted to seat belt bolt... Does that sound right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all, Upon starting the rev counter,fuel guage,heat guage and LED display dies. The car idles fine etc. orior to starting when you turn the ignition on all lights and guages work as they should,even when the car is running everything works apart from the above mentioned guagea?? Just recently installed a Turbo and part of that was moving the battery to the boot. All earths were checked and all are fine. Anyone have any idea what it could be or is it just my clocks thats at fault? Just find it a bit of a co-incidence after the install? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So she started! Had a tiny fuel leak from one injector,think that is now sorted. Then a leak from the screw in the fuel rail...only just temp fixed that...any idea as to where to get one of those screws? Think the washer has gone. As she stands now....
