  3. Thanks for that, might keep the PAS then. Would you have to extend any of the cable when running it inside the chassis?
  4. Does anybody know how i can Delete my AC and power steering and which belt to use once I have removed these?? im basically trying to tidy up my engine bay. Also does anybody have any idea how to hide all the cables / pipes? Thanks, Yeah Buddy
  5. Hi, wondering is anybody body knows of a good mechanical engineering company in Colchester area? I used to use a place called Cober Engineering but either they have moved or closed down but they not at the address any more! I need my block Honed and skimmed, My head skimmed and my guides pressed out and new ones pressed in and i need my flywheel skimmed. hope some one can help. really want to my VR running before June LOL!! Thanks
  6. i have taken the head of, luckily no damaged pistons!! but def one or two bent valves, I think you might be onto something with the lower tensioner, Will check manual tonight, the chain was really loose though I could easily move it over about 2 -3 teeth Will put up some pics of the Chain guides let me know what you think? Also you might know I just bought a OBD2 Piston on ebay as i feared the worse would if fit OBD1. Thanks a mill for your help!!
  7. Im 26, First VR when i was 23 had it for 2 years>RIP< gone now, but second one is in the drive now picked her 2weeks ago!!! Im very happy but the misses is noT! Oh Well if a man does not have hobby he will start looking for other things hey??
  8. I need some help please, Just bought myself another VR6 Bought it with knocking noise!! Real good deal as body is immaculate. any hows, my first guess it was one of the big end busted off, so i remove the sump and checked underneath, All was good nothing broken and no bits in the pan. (the knocking was really loud and it sounded that engine was not running on all six that's why a assumed it was one of the big ends or conrods that snapped) So after that i removed rocker cover to check cams. Nothing broken but the timing chain was really loose, I could lift it and mover over about the teeth on t
