I need to replace the gear box on my Sharan VR6, The Sharan Gearbox is hard to find, (If you have one for sale let me know) Would a Golf or Corrado VR6 Gearbox fit the Sharan? I am planning turning the Sharan in to a sleeper beast

Ok so i found out i need a new gear box, Is there any other box i can uses that will fit in the sharan like a golf or carado vr6 gear box? also will the gear box code have to mach with the new one and how do i find out the code with the shassis number? thx

Hello, I was driving along the A9 south of Invreness today, In my Sharan VR6 i put it in to 3rd gear at high revs and i herd a crunch. I got safly to a layby. Now when i try and select a gear the gear stick just springs back to the neutral position. Any ideas what i'm dealing with hear?

what parts do you think i would need to get. Do yiou think i would be able to fix on my own with just basic knowledge?

Just started doing it today, Its at 125k miles, Timing belt? Please have a look and tell me what you think,
