  1. Ive got a couple of mates who still love there old school (late 80's to mid 90's) cars and still own them. Two mates have got there wives involved in RS's 1 has a mint escort cosworth with his wifes sapphire cosworth and the other couple have a mint totally standard F reg saph cosworth a mint big powered 4wd K reg saph cosworth. I have another mate with G plate 205GTI turbo which is pretty quick.
  2. I'm thinking of putting a corrado rear bench I'm my mk3 and was wondering if anyone knows if it just fits straight in of if theres anything I'd need to do to get it in. Other one with the armrest I'm after
  3. Mines an N reg and I bought it with a little bit of panel damage to the drivers side and where the damage was where the only bits of rust were only because the paint had split. Thats all sorted now im just keeping my fingers crossed it'll not come back through

  5. Hi mate, did you have any problems getting the front wheels to fit? ive got the same rims but in 7.5x17 and 8.5x17, the fronts are a mile off the hubs so i was wondering if you used spacers and if so what size? Cheers Dave
  6. Sorry about the dodgey spelling and wording. It's no good trying to post stuff using your phone haha
  7. I hate the general public on the roads. Ive drove class 1 HGV for nearly 11yrs now have seen some some unbelievable things on the roads over the years. I drive a 63ft long car transporter now and these d*co heads dont understand how unstable my truck becomes when these morons pull in front of you and jam on the brakes and I have to jam on the brakes and manover round them (whilst braying the horn and shouting obscenities)
  8. Ive got the same problem with these exact wheels. Ive got 7.5's for the front and 8.5's for the back, the backs fit absolutely fine but the fronts are miles away. Does anyone know what spacers to go or? I'm also running stretched tyres 205/45/17 on the rear and 195/45/17 on the front and the arches are roled all round
  9. My mate has HPG turbo conversion on his R32 and it's f**kin awesome he also has mk4 gttdi gearing in his box and it flys. His pushed 515bhp on the rollers and they maxed it out at 214mph on there too.
  10. It was a shit end to a good the test in the Leon missed me and my step son by about 15ft. Where was the club stand? I was hoping to meet some of you guys for the first time even though I've not really spoken to anyone on here as I'm always full of busy
  11. I haven't had a chance yet mate the VR is my second car so it's not getting used at the moment I'm busy getting it prep'd for paint for GTI this year. There's a lad breaking a Obd 2 engine and box on here so I think I'll try him for the part first and see if that sorts it
  12. I'll try that mate there's a few lads in my area so I'll give them a shout. Thanks again
  13. Cheers mate I'll give that a go. I'm in Newcastle mate. I just didn't think it would be plugs leads or maf
  14. Alrite guys, I hope someone can help. ive got a miss on my VR at low revs but once you get the revs passed 2k the miss goes. if you give it a bit grief then stop at a set of lights or something and pull away again the miss is back but worse and sounds like its back firing through the air filter. I just want to try and pin point the problem before i star throwing money at it. and it'll also keep the wife happy that im not sinking all our money into just a car hahaha
  15. Was it easy enough to do? Or was it a bit of a f**k on? The Porsche seats didn't sit too high or anything did they?
  16. Ok cheers for the reply i mite just buy them and give them a go. the electrics will be easy enough i'm sure i'll find a wayof getting them in i hope haha.
