Need some wiring help lads. Fitted a vr to my 8v gti mk3. Everything works. Apart from the reverse lights. Now the car has been running for a year now. I did a continuity test from the reverse light switch on the gear box to the fuse and nothing. So i have managed to trace it to the rad control mod. No broken wire to there. Now i am trying to get to the fuse box area. I have looked on the a2 wiring and that says the white plug (F) connector 6&7 (black/red & black/blue) so tried to do a conti test from the connector under rad control mod to the black/red & black/blue F connector and

Sounds like chain/guide slapping? Get a new kit and if i was you take the head off and get everything checked over? Also get the metal head gasket?

Lads i need a good set of tyres for my car. I have proxies on drives side and conti on pass (yes i know) anyway pas side wheel spins sooo easy. Im thinking about getting proxies. Can anyone tell me which other make is good? Now i dont do track and my car is an anni with a vr in it. So i have the bbs rx2s on it. Need to get 215 40 16 but which letter should i get at the end of it?

Did you put on coilovers? If so check the nut that holds the struts in (circle but with 2 holes in it)

If the rack is broken i would replace it with a good working one.

Defo the spring around the crank shaft seal. Maybe it wasnt put on properly the 1st time
