  1. Thx alot Pete for the procedure, I'll try it out. I know there's a ground (GND) error on the right tail light. The red driving light flashes together with the direction light.. maybe there is an obscure link between them
  2. I dont know about the fan regulator (where is this located?), but the radiator fan is new and the little fuse boks (20 A and 5 A) underneath the plastic radiator tank is new. When I pulled out the 5A fuse today, the circulating pump stopped. Does this pump get any signal from a termostat somewhere?
  3. craggsy: yes, its that pump. The thing is that it never turns off until the battery is completly drained. Bungy: I'll try your suggestion and change the oil and filter. Hope it helps
  4. Thanks for very fast replies guys, really appreciate it Bungry: The filter and oil was changed just before the car was set away for 2 years ago, but is it worth changing it anyways? Will 10 min reset someting? The car has a catalytic converter. Gazbarber: The fan control module (fuse box) is new. I'll try hooking it up to vagcom for fault codes regarding the emission.
  5. Hi, I'm a first time owner of a Golf III VR6, 1993 mod. and new to the VR6 Owners Club. Hope someone can be so kind and answer some questions of mine. When the ignition is turned off, the pump that circulates the radiator water does not stop. I have to disconnect the plus pole from the battery for it to stop. Any suggestion of what that could be? (thermostat, relay?) And also the exhaust/emission outlet level is 5,5 (the limit for EU control is less than 0,5). The car has a Remus effect exhaust system. (km: 186000) The car has also been standing still for 2 years... Suggestions of where to b
