As above, its not the power that kills boxes, its torque, especially through third gear. This is why you dont want to skimp on mapping Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
If its pitted then go to the depth of the pit (within reason) as same goes for warpage. If yhe decks smooth then just take the top layer of dirt off. A good specialist should be able to advise Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
Personally i don't think they go with golfs, look okay on smaller cars like polos or lupos e.t.c then again I had banded steels on my combo van for a bit. upto you at the end of the day. you will easily sell them on if you don't agree on them.
