Hi guys thanx for the help the culprit was relay 167 fuel pump, i have now changed car starts first time again, however got a problem again, i noticed once the relay gets hot the car wont start again , can i put this down to a dodgy relay or do i have to look deeper into the problem

Hi Guys I need some help please, drove ,my vr as normal today got home parked the car then i decided to go out again and now the car wont start it just turns over but wont fire i checked the fuses they all fine i can hear the throttle buzzing then going off. any ideas please help thanx

mate dont call euro's rather go instore i bought my maf last week from them cost me £64 however i had to give my old maf in as a exchange , and yes it a oe part (bosch) 8-)

thanx mate but are you refering to the gasket that sits between the cat and adaptor plate, cause i am after the one that sits between the adaptor plate and manifold down pipe

hi guys the forum has been really helpful, i was reading the thread by antera on how to install the heated seat loom which is quite simple and very helpful, however i am a liitle stuck in his thread he mentions that the illumination plug is blue on my loom i have grey, green and brown, i dont want to confuse myself so i take it my illumination is grey, and ignition live is green is that correct? thanks

Hi all As the title says i am after the part number for the bolts that tie the cam sprocket to the cam, the previous owner had an attempt and rounded them i have had to take my cams to engineers to get the bolts removed they had to be drilled out so now i am stuck with no bolts, i have also decided to change the sensor on cam.Can anyone please help me with the relevant part numbers please Thanx

Hi All i am new to the forum, i just need some advice from all you vr6 guru's, i decided to change my upper guide rail as it was cracked, i then also decided to change my cam sensor and the other part on the cam sproket not sure of the name, in doin so i think i messed up my cam timing cause the cam has jumped a few teeth (note the longer cam which sits on exhaust side). the shorter cam has stayed in its original position the intermediate shaft has not turned and the crank pulley marks line up correctly, now for the life of me i cannot get the longer cam to line up with the lockin tool its ab
