  1. I read before if you use the mk4 cable change you have to use the mk4 gearbox tower that the cables attaches to, does anyone who also use this know why and if you must regards mike
  2. this is really a genral question aboout the pressure that the pipe has to deal with, the pipe on my mk2 vr conversion is too short and i am finding it hard to source pas pipe what other types of pipe can i use that can hold the pressure i mean does it hold more pressure than say fuel pipe as i could use that other wise, regards.
  3. I have mk4 rears on my mk2 and mk1 so i would have thought so, is your servo and m/c up to the job?
  4. there was a lot of discussion about this cable on mk2vr6 and some of the guys found that the 1.3 was a pain to fit correctly , i used a 1.1 bacle from an 084 gearbox which even has the correct end for the "fork" side the only issue is i cant remember if it wsa a mk1 ot mk2 but i have the part number will dig it out tomorrow.
  5. its because in the mk3 it is attacted to part of the body or part of the car that you dont use in the mk2 if i remember correcly, just knock up a bracket or something
  6. fix the one of have as the "new" engine you put in could end up the same way in a bit
